Meibukan students throughout the world have their school’s founder, YAGI Meitoku Dai Sensei in their thoughts today as it was 9 years ago when he passed away. Dai Sensei is revered by many as a supporter of Okinawa Karate. Known as the successor of Chojun Miyagi and a founding father of the All Okinawa Karate Do Renmei and Okinawa Goju-Kai, Dai Sensei has made a enormous impact on the face of Karate. May he rest in peace.
