Annual General Meeting

Meibukan Houkonkai is pleased to announce our annual general meeting to take place at the NOX Dojo on October 14th, the same day as our shiai. Both Sensei Fall and I are requesting that anyone wishing to have something considered on the agenda to do so by September 15th, 2012. So far on the agenda……

Unified Kata Curriculum

New Membership Structure (to accommodate our American members and our International interests in Europe and South America.)

Preparation For 2013 Trip of Okinawan Masters.

It will be followed by a training session which will cover some important revisions in kata and sparring drills. Sparring drills will be based on the curriculum of coach and athlete extraordinaire, YAGI Ippei Sensei.

On Sunday, November 13, 2011, Meibukan Houkonkai will have its first Annual General Meeting in London, Ontario. The agenda is as follows:

  • Brief Review and Acceptance of the Organizational Documents submitted to the Executive on October 23rd, 2011.
  • Assignment of members to permanent committees. Technical and Events
  • March 2012 preliminary discussion
