November 21st, 2015, NOX Dojo will be hosting 2 Senseis with a remarkable record. Sensei Marvin Labatte of Syracuse, New York and Sensei Karl Sutton of ISK Dojo in Etobicoke, Ontario will be leading seminars on Bo and Sparring. The even is open to everyone including guests.
Sensei Marvin Labatte has a long history with Okinawa Karate and Kobudo. He leads CNY Karate and Kobudo Schools in Syracuse New York. He has authored numerous articles on Okinawan Karate and Kobudo through the decades. His dojo is 50 years old and the hombu of his association called Seibukan.
Sensei Labatte is an expert in both Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate and Matayoshi Kobudo. His students have done well in the AAU competitive circuit in Kata, Kumite, and Kobudo.
Sensei Karl Sutton has a long history with NOX Dojo. Since 1997, both he and Sensei Sean Wong have worked together on a number of different projects. Since then, he has been a staple on the national team either as an athlete in his early years or as a coach to many of his athletes. Some of his winning athletes are Morana Zeskoski and Chris De Souza Costa.
He will be leading a class on winning techniques and strategies. Come prepared to workout and be amazed by his technique and level of coaching.
Seminar Fees: $25 for each seminar or $40 for both
