Tenchi Dojo On the Way Up

On of our newest associate, Bruno Daniele Sensei recent put together an impromptu gathering on Friday, April 15th, that had Sensei Sean Wong leading a number of his peers in Okinawa Goju Ryu. The newly named Tenchi Karate Dojo was inspired by the Tenchi Kata found in Meibukan. Topics covered some Meibukan basics, distance, timing, some drills of Grandmaster Chojun Miyagi, as well as modern takes on classical techniques.

Tenchi Karate Dojo runs out of Rudy Duncan’s Martial Arts Academy separately in a rented timeshare at the back. The matted space can accommodate a good size group where classes are help twice weekly. Bruno Sensei works as a policemen and can be contacted at syracusetenchikarate@gmail.com.
